But alas it seems a taskforce has formed targeting specifically OF creators. Usually these investigations are 'random' but to hear that I am now being subjected to this huge and very very thorough investigation just because of my profession is incredibly disheartening - especially because I have always done my best to do everything 'above board'. I understand that not everyone in this industry does not share that sentiment, but to be punished for someone else's wrongdoing just sucks. If you are familiar with my oh so lovely country - they have no doubt decided to now extract as much money as possible from me, and with the nature of my very 'grey zone' business I have a feeling most arguments will come down to "word against word" - and if that's the case I have a pretty good idea of who will win. The labor alone is going to take ages as they want to see ' everything' but also the cost of accountants etc... Its going to be a nightmare.
Only a few years ago did I have to undergo a massive investigation as I was suspected for 'money washing'- I obviously don't and never have just to be clear lol. But similarly it was a huge and costly affair and in general I'm just so incredibly tired of the hostility against me and my business - Its everything BUT encouraging me to do well and make more money lol. Its all just a bit of a meme at this point tbh and if anyone has any recommendations to what would be a business wise favorable place for me to move to I am VERY open to it.
Besides that I am currently looking into some health issues that also emerged in this period - hopefully nothing too serious but will ofc let you know once I know more hopefully next week.
