We wrapped on set here in Tennessee. Ha, my second time in Tennessee for filming within the week. I’m exhausted. In the morning, I have to go home to Evansville (drive 3hrs), pack & then head up north 2hrs from there for my beautiful friend’s birthday. I’m hoping to have a time. I deserve it. I learned those script lines for today in just a couple of days & I didn’t totally freeze even once. That’s big for me. Maybe my new brain supplements are working?

I’m missing Texas so much tonight. I’m thinking about the relationship I almost had (or so I thought) while I was there. I’m also thinking about how all the classes I wanted to take this fall are finally open for registration.
The whole thing is pretty heart breaking. I am however excited about filming “Death Woods” tomorrow in Tennessee. I never thought just a few years back that I’d be driving myself such distances for acting gigs.
A lot of people don’t really know this about me but I started driving preeeetty late. It terrified me & caused me such anxiety. So the fact that I can ever drive the distances I do amazes me. And I’ve come to really love being by myself with my thoughts in my car.
Just wish I was driving back to Austin like I originally planned next month. 💔
About to jump in the shower & wash my hair for filming tomorrow!!! Then I gotta start packing. And I’ve been working on my script lines all day. It’s a whole damned process… 🎭

I once again am dramatically unprepared for something. I’ve got a stand up gig tomorrow. My first. I figured I’d just recycle some old material I wrote for my stand-up class but I realized tonight that literally none of my sets is completely appropriate for a gay bar. For various reasons… I guess I’m gonna get up & try to write more material to do. Then try like hell to remember it. Anyway, come out if you’re local. It’s at “Someplace Else”. The door open at 6pm & we go on at 8pm. Also please pray for me that I don’t totally bomb. I mean, even if I do though, there’s definitely worse things that could happen. So, I’ll try to hold on to remembering that… Ha! What a month!

I wrapped on “Bl00d Bitch Baby” earlier & then we all went out (the crew & cast) to dinner at a Mexican restaurant by where we are staying. It was so great!!!
I’m so nervous because I haven’t even picked out which bits I’m going to do for the comedy opening in just a day!!! Ahhh! And it’s my first so I don’t want it to be a total cringe fest. Then, I’m filming on Tuesday & lord knows I do not know those lines in the slightest. Neeeever again will I pack this much shit in a single month.
Angel, my co-star is doing 4 full projects this month & totally has it under control. I do not. 😂 I feel pitiful & unable to deal lately. Complete brain fog madness & then shame because of that. Yikes, dawg.
And on top of everything with my brain not working, my ass being branded from sitting on the damn curling iron a few days back, I have developed & really insane rash on my bra line. Soooo, things are great. Haaaaa.
It is soooo hard to find time to update this thing while I’m on set. 😆 I can’t wait until we wrap on this thing & go eat Mexican food!!! As a faaaaamily! 😌

Filming has been fucking bananas today. S we were kicked out of our air bnb because they definitely thought we were filming porn. The owners were in the corn field by the house & started yelling at us when they saw the camera guy getting a light with a gel set up outside.
The lady was screaming, “This is a Christian home! Pack up & get out!” Our director tried to tell them we were filming “home movies” which sounds worse, tbh. 😆 Then he wanted to keep shooting when they we’re definitely staring at the house & it looked like calling the cops. Then the lady just showed up in the house while we were gathering our stuff & she told Angel to find a different line of work. To which Angel replied that we weren’t making porn. We were setting up to film an independent horror film. So then the lady said we were defiling her residence. It was crazy.
I feel terrible for the director because he put up all that money for that huge house & they told him he couldn’t have a refund. Soooo we went to hotel 6 to film the fancy Elizabeth Bathory story. Lol. Because of all the ruckus I definitely started flubbing my lines super hard. After I had practiced them nonstop on my 2hr drive to Kentucky last night. And then 4 straight hours today driving here to Tennessee. I really had them down finally!
Annnnd I have another movie to film on Tuesday that I never thought was actually happening. Ha! So I just printed out my part of the script yesterday & just highlighted it today. I’m really a mess right now & looking stupid in front of my friends. I’m highly disappointed in myself this month.
Anyway, I promise I will get caught up on my DMs very soon. I just have sooooo much going on rn. I need to figure out which bits I’m doing for my comedy show on Saturday too. Please pray for my weak over worked & fogged brain right now. I’m losing it.

However, I gotta get on the damn road to Louisville (to drop off my dog) immediately! I’m barely gonna get *ANY* sleep tonight before I have to get up, get ready & drive 4hrs to Tennessee to film in the morning! Ahhhh! I’ve been really going through it with brain fog lately.
