2021-04-01 03:59:55 +0000 UTC View Postthe 2-4 weeks growing tour pubes out before your first wax is theee worst for so many. your hair is growing in at a blunt end and at your hair shafts thickest point. it itches and can irritate your skin and is quite honestly a pain in the butt. ...BUT it’s worth it 👀🥳
2021-03-29 04:39:10 +0000 UTC View Postsecond braz appt be like —>> “oh my gosh are you even pulling my hair out? that hardly hurts!” “I am seriously so relaxed, I could take a nap!!” “This is so much better than the first time!” “I’m so glad I came back” & then I’m just like, “told ya”
2021-03-29 04:32:01 +0000 UTC View Postallergic reactions & Brazilian waxing? yes — it’s important for your waxer to know all of your allergies before your waxing appointment. tbh & the reality is though, skincare ingredients can be derived from all kinds of sources and generally when someone starts their Brazilian waxing journey, this is the first time in their life where they’re really experimenting with new ingredients in this area. so it’s difficult for someone to gage how their skin will react until they try it haha an allergic reaction can show up days after you leave from your appointment — please always reach out to your waxer and let them know if your skin has any adverse reactions so it can be documented for the future. it’s not necessarily a contraindication for future waxing. it’s so important for you to be honest and upfront with your the beauty professionals you see for treatments because it truly can affect your results. so, I always keep an antihistamine on hand. sometimes the skin around someone’s hair follicle will swell a little — I mean, makes sense. we’re traumatizing the poor guy — and it can look similar to a histamine reaction. so I may add some cortisone cream to be safe and send my client home with them in case it gets worse, in which case they could apply more and take a doctor-approved allergy med. doesn’t happen very often & most often it subsides over the next few hours though 🥰🥳
2021-03-29 04:13:26 +0000 UTC View Postpiercings & waxing? absolutely, pal. & all of the hair will be able to be removed like with a normal Brazilian 🥳 but the wax should noootttt touch the piercing lol FYI, PSA, HEADS UP I mean it shouldn’t ever go on the clitoris either but I feel that’s a whole other topic other issue other day ya feel me
2021-03-29 03:52:29 +0000 UTC View PostThis got deleted from tok yesterday cause of my damn mirror lmao Basically, I felt like I wasted my time trying to numb. I’m open to trying to do it for longer next time though. I’ve heard the sprays are shit tho and will make your skin too sticky to wax so maybe don’t do that haha
2021-03-28 15:01:12 +0000 UTC View PostAs promised!! MY brazilian ‘before’ [my wax yesterday] & friend Caitlin waxing me. This is a good example of someone who is untrained basically winging it and then me giving feedback and showing my waxing application comparatively BUT I will be incorporating more types of content like this with examples where I will NOT be charging. This one is charged for because there’s a face for you to connect the body part to — mine. All of my body content postings on here are anonymous up to now. I have a male who has consented for me to show his before & after and my following will know who he is because he only has one testicle ;) so there may be some exceptions. But for the most part gang, when I’m showing my own body normality, there will be censorship. Happy Sunday you hairy little...
2021-03-28 14:55:52 +0000 UTC View Postyeah ok so, this ones mine. so here’s the thing — normalizing body normality is such a passion of mine that comes from toxic & deeply seeded core values that have made me believe my entire life that MY body is imperfect & wrong & not okay. through time & therapy & so. much. loving. self-talk., i feel that I can confidently say that I don’t reside with those values and beliefs anymore. seeing normal & nekkid bodies on the regular has definitely helped me & my hope is that by sharing my and others body normality, that over time you will be able to change your toxic core values and belief systems about your body and appearance. 🖤🥳 $5 photos are all unedited. all showing my visible ‘societal-deemed imperfections’ & about 7 week grown out bush haha. the one pictured is added and a few others from when my friend waxed me and then one showing my preferred Brazilian-area scrub post-scrubbin on ma Brazilian area. 🥰
2021-03-25 20:39:36 +0000 UTC View PostIngrown hair is common to see in any persons wax room because most people aren’t used to maintaining their bikini line and a proper exfoliation routine is KEY to smooth results with a Brazilian 👌🏼 No worries, I got her skincare routine straightened up

2021-03-25 20:17:50 +0000 UTC View PostIf you’re here from tiktok.... you already know what’s comin 😈🥳 Here is a quick snap of my unlicensed, untrained friend helping me show the world that there is so much more to Brazilian waxing than we collectively believe. We had so much fun! I have some pics & a video to post here today. All education, and I will be charging for the ones where I’m exposed. I’m sure you’ll understand 😉

2021-03-14 04:37:52 +0000 UTC View Postno, seriously. go schedule an ass wax. hair thinning and slowing the growth process down>>. no itching as it’s growing in like when you’ve shaved because the ends are thin and tapered instead of thick and blunt 🥲
2021-03-14 04:35:24 +0000 UTC View Postif you look down at your brazilian area and you: •SEE blunt-appearing ends of hair sitting at the base of your skin stuck under dead skin cells •SEE hair strands actually growing in a straight line underneath dead skin cells •FEEL bumpy and congested skin •FEEL dense, thick, coarse pubic hair you’ve GOTTA adjust that home-care routine, my dood. the skin on your Brazilian area is so different from the skin on your face. •it’s thicker •it produces more oil •bacteria bacteria bacteria • the skin cell turnover rate is quicker and produces way more dead skin cells ⬆️ THAT in combination with your hair actually thinning as you’re waxed, gottttttaaaa exfoliate more than we’re used to. gotta moisturize more than we have been. the idea of maintaining this area AT ALL is really new to most people and it can take time to adjust and add new skin habits. I don’t recommend using chemical exfoliation in this area unless you’re really versed in skincare and different ingredients affects on the skin. AHA’s & BHA’s can be amazing for this area, BUT there are rules to follow with those ingredients in consideration of your waxing appointments. so, across the board, I say it’s best to start with a scrub & moisturizer like @zandikproducts and THEN if your skin is particularly problematic or you’ve gotten into a good routine of keeping up on your braz skincare, you can branch out into other exfoliating methods. There’s a referral link in my bio to snag a zandi k duo & get it sent to your house🖤 gotta get the basics down first though. don’t forget (after post-wax sensitization subsides) in weeks 1-2: exfoliate 3-4x for weeks 3+: 4-7x a week up to your next appointment I have an IGTV demonstration I and I’ve heard and seen positive feedback from my clients skin so far. Check it out & lmk how it goes! 🥳🖤

2021-03-13 22:57:05 +0000 UTC View Postsome thoughts on waxing during your period! complete personal preference and doesn’t make a difference to me as a waxer. If you’re particularly worried about the pain, keep in mind that your hormones and increase of circulation can make your Brazilian wax more painful so I wouldn’t do it for your first one IF you are super nervous about the pain during. your first wax is already more painful than the rest of your waxes will be because we’re dealing with the most hair your skin is able to produce lol. after you’ve waxed though, your hair is much more thin so the difference in sensitivity isn’t *that* noticeable IMO
2021-03-13 22:55:30 +0000 UTC View Posttrooooooooth, dude. one of my favorite things to have waxed and the feedback I hear from my clients on the topic is in agreement pretty cross-the-board🥳 dooo eeeet. included with every Brazilian wax appointment 🔥

I’m OBSESSED with the amount of tweezing I HAVENT had to do 🥺🥺 (so are my clients!!!) when I first started at my salon last summer, buying ‘top of the line’ kind of product wasn’t able to be a priority because I didn’t have the financial means to begin with and to be completely transparent... I wasn’t bringing in tha financial means either. my books were more open than they were ‘booked’ jafeel me??? no for real. I did 9 Brazilians in November. for the whole month guess how many I did in February.... no, don’t. I’ll tell you. 59. yes. Fifty nine hairy coochie waxes. on a part time schedule and with accepting eyebrow and facial waxing. twas a crazy time insane growth tho for three months 🤯 THANK YOU!!!! so it is because of you now hairLESS coochie waxees (and of course my facial & underarm waxees) that we’re able to really invest into what we’re doing here. we started with our wax. 😎 so far @misscire mademoiselle and iconic MIXED are like my GOAT for grabbing the really short hairs that are in the very beginning of their anagen hair growth phase .... but I’m eager to try their other soft & hard wax formulas as well! hi, I get to play with and try out products all day. this my dream job ps added the edited ‘after’ bc there was a wax strip with wax on the bed and it bothered me 😤
