EMO KID. Yeah, I used to get bullied for being an emo kid. Groups of chavs shouting asking if I worship the devil and do I cut myself when I was trying to walk home. I still remember walking to one of my final college exams and someone threw a cup out of a car window at me shouting "fucking emo" at me. To this day I have no idea what was in it as it seemed to be something they had made specifically to throw at people. I smelled like vinegar and it was sticky and gross. I had to try and do my exam with my hair full of this sticky, disgusting smelling stuff. It sucks that people would get bullied just because of how they dress or what music they listen to. I may be 31 now but I'll always be an emo kid at heart. Lately I've felt like I've lost my sense of self in my style a bit. Sometimes I put on the old emo clothes and I feel like it just doesn't suit me as much any more? Maybe I'm just having a confidence crisis. Or a mid-life crisis. But whatever I wear or however I look, I will always be that emo kid deep down.
