I'm sorry I haven't posted all week! I have been digging trenches and filling them with rock and perforated drain pipes with sleeves and then more rock and then leveling everything with base rock layers and then tomorrow I rent a vibratory plate to compound the rock so it doesn't get in the horses hooves and then cover it all in wood chips! Ay ay ay! It's been intense you guys.. but it's nearly complete and this means there will be no mud and therefore no fungus in the horses hooves. It will also save me a fortune in bedding! One year ago with Targaryen, my golden boy who this Friday may sell. I made the very hard choice to put him up for sale a year ago because he is obviously a rare stunner and wish a huge amount of money. This money will go to the rehabilitation of his horse friends still in need of recovery. If I had the money, if I were only more popular here, I would have kept him forever. I've had him since he was 10 months old and now he's nearly 6! I love him dearly and I have found him a really wonderful home with good people who will keep him forever and give him the training and lifestyle he deserves. If he passes his vet check on Friday, they will load him in their trailer and give us a big donation which will pay for Ember, Whiskey and Cheetahs recoveries and our vet bill which every time I pay down, something else happens 😅 I'm honestly feeling a little sad about saying goodbye to Gary.

Thank you all for staying subscribed! Turning on your re-bill means I have funding for the rescue I can depend on always being there. I have to go feed all my horse babies right now, but if I can do it with haste, I shall be back to bake delicious naked cookies before heading out to a high school football game!
