Added 2025-05-07 02:43:25 +0000 UTCI signed Mickey up for obedience training classes. Tomorrow evening is our first class. I like its small classes limited 6 dogs. It operates on a milestone system so when he’s able to perform certain things than we can advance to another class. It has flexibility and think it’s exactly the mild distractions that he needs to accelerate his progress. He has lunged a couple times on our evening walk, but since I’ve worked with him getting him used to the gentle leader no disastrous injuries. He’s much easier to catch and correct the behavior. He’s still not a fan of it, but he’s figured out if he wants to walk then he has to wear it. I tried a pinch collar, but am likely the leader better. Off to bed. Night night 😘
