Horrific earthquake in Myanmar! Over a thousand people have died. My heartfelt condolences to everyone affected!❤️🩹 There’s been quite a bit of damage in Bangkok too. Have u seen those videos of skyscrapers swaying? I actually stayed in one of them last year!😱 Thankfully, I didn’t feel any tremors here in Hanoi — it’s pretty far from the epicenter after all. I flew into the city yesterday, and it turned out to be cold! I even had to buy a sweater!🥲 Today it’s only 60°F!😭 But I’m not too upset — at least it’ll be cozier for sitting in cute little restaurants! Haha!💕 The traffic here is just wild. Hundreds of people zooming around on mopeds, and to cross the street you literally just have to take the first step and go!😱 It’s terrifying, but somehow everyone weaves around u, and u magically end up on the other side! Haha!😁 The city is super lively and loud, and in the mornings the streets are full of people working out — young and old! It’s amazing!😍 So far, I’m loving it here!
