The decadent allure and untamed beauty of the 1920s have all but faded from our modern culture, but in this moment, they lived again. This was the first time I saw Carolee adorned in such dazzling splendor, and she was utterly mesmerizing. Every detail—the glimmer of gold, the deep emerald hues, her flawless hair and perfectly placed curls, the bold stroke of lipstick—felt like stepping into a living dream.
I can’t get over this entire shoot with her. It was electric. It was intoxicating. It was soooo much fun! Our first in this series, and we played with abandon, losing ourselves in the art of it. I think we burned through six—maybe eight—rolls of film in this space alone.
Imagine living like this, embodying this glamour, this passion, this erotic energy as a way of life. Need I say more? 𓋹
