Like, before your phone did everything you could ever need it to do? Personally, I really liked having a dedicated music player, but I also collect vinyl and CDs, and I love music and dead formats, so maybe my opinion is a little strange? I had a very early iPod Nano, and playing brick breaker on the click wheel was the best!! I also had a Shuffle and a Touch, but I feel like the Touch was just a worse iPhone, and the real nostalgia for me was in those early iPods.
