As I've told a few of you, I have a horrible habit of wanting to adopt all of the books at the thrift store, but the good news is that I've gotten quite good at finding the good stuff, in the wasteland that often is a thrift store's book section. Last week, I found the last Margaret Atwood book from the Oryx and Crake series that I needed, Welcome to Night vale, an interesting book on the history of plagues, a guide to making kombucha, and a tiny, miniature copy of the Joy of Cooking!! It feels so good to find something you actually want to read at the thrift store, and I'm so glad I've given so many books a good home!
