Why is the Caticorn my soul's avatar? Firstly, in this day and age cats have intense ties to the internet. I mean let's be real, the net was basically just porn and cat videos for a long time, starting with the icanhaz days haha. So since the majority of my friendships growing up, experiences, and now my job is online so I feel a kinship there, something not a lot of people understand (“what do you mean you’ve never met your best friend in person?” is a common response I got in my teens) And then we have the cat demeanour... A strange oxymoronic balance of graceful and derpy, independent and needy, aloof and affectionate, clever and ditzy... I relate to a lot of that clearly! So then add a big dash of magic and you've got the meowgical Caticorn...
