If you’re a fellow pervy-perv-lifestyler or a single person who’s gettin’ it on, it’s best practice for you to get tested every 3 - 12 months depending upon the following: a) frequency of sexual engagement with individuals outside of the primary relationship (or individuals other than yourself, if you’re single) b) whether or not either party engaged in fluid bonding with someone outside of the primary relationship (sexual engagement without a condom or any form of protection) c) whether or not the relationship is serodiscordant (one or more of the participants has HIV while the others do not)
