You have to learn to love everything that happens. That's what I call maturity. You have to love what is already there. Immaturity always lives in "here if," or "would be good," but never in "is," and "is" is reality. All that "would be good," you only dream about. Whatever reality is, it is good. Love it, enjoy it, and relax in it. If something goes away, say goodbye. Things change...life ebbs and flows and changes. No one stays the same; sometimes wide open spaces open up, sometimes there's nowhere to move. Both are good. Both are gifts of existence. We need to learn the kind of gratitude that gives thanks for whatever happens. Just enjoy what's happening-it, and nothing else, is happening right now. Tomorrow, maybe one thing will change and be different; then enjoy the other. The day after tomorrow, maybe a third thing will happen. Enjoy the third. Don't compare with the past, with useless fantasies about the future. Live in the moment. Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's very cold, but both are necessary; otherwise life will disappear.
