This helps tighten up the dough a little so it maintains its shape and has a nice vertical rise in the oven instead of spreading out wide. I was a little flustered after the mouse situation and the dough had gotten a little dry from sitting out so it didn’t stitch as well. That’s the reason for the angry muttering 😅 Update on the mice, i have trapped 5 of them over the last few days… really hoping there aren’t many more because I’m already pretty grossed out about it.
