Added 2023-11-05 13:37:10 +0000 UTCI have been waiting for over a week to see if I was chosen to be an extra in this movie filming in Louisville. Today is the day before we’d film a 10 hour day & they haven’t decided yet. I have heard extra work is suuuuuper last minute & spontaneous but damn! This is extreme! I checked in yesterday with the casting director on the project & she said they hadn’t made a decision yet. I really hope I get it. All I’d be doing is dancing in a club scene in the background on 3 different dates but the rate of pay is damn close to what I charge to be in indie features so I’d love to have that money! I’m taking my mom to Miami at the end of the month for Thanksgiving. My treat & I need to be able to afford it! Anyway, fingers crossed I get the “yes” later today! I wanted to film something this month anyways, and my one shoot got pushed to the beginning of next month so that don’t count. 😆
