Added 2023-06-12 21:21:34 +0000 UTCseries inspired by my trip to Japan circa 2017 when i was able to cast myself onto these tvs in store. i took each photo simultaneously on my camera and laptop webcam. originally it was called echos but once i created the first image i thought simulcast was perfect. i had seen some old tvs on the streets near a friends house around june 3 and i wanted to bring them home. I have a habit of doing that, i had 4 old tvs in my yard when i had a house in tennessee. i'd see them and stick them in my car or trunk thinking i'd make something with it, but i never did. i went back a couple days later to photograph the tvs to use them instead of using stock footage. it was fun to have a project i felt driven to create all the way through, even if not extremely laborious it was a fun journey with fun steps!! i hope you'll enjoy the photos :)
