When I was at my friends house this weekend, I found a suitcase full of half-finished art, letters from friends, pictures, little treasures, and some costume pieces that I had stored away ten years ago and forgot about. It was like a Time Capsule! This was one of the half-finished paintings, and I decided to finally finish it today. She’s a variation of the goddess Ishtar, painted on top of a wooden 1960s plaque of a cute little Jester (it wasn’t an original so I don’t feel bad about it). I’ll show you the full piece tomorrow when I can photograph it in natural daylight. 💛
