They’re made of silk and hand embroidered and really hard to find in wearable shape. Typically, the stitching has come undone, or the silk has fallen apart, or they’re just in really delicate condition because they weren’t stored properly over the last 80 years. They were made in all different vibrant colors with different cheeky sayings on them and were sent by soldiers who are stationed overseas in the Pacific Theatre home to their girlfriends. The fact that this baby blue set fits and it’s an awesome shape it was such a treat – so enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed making them!
