We were camping out in the Badlands and had heard about it, but didn’t think it would be too terrible! Little did we know that it was going to be 40 mph winds in 32F😂😂 and the pink lightening was definitely terrifying and beautiful to see! Nothing bad happened to us….at least, I can’t say the same for the campers about 500 yards away! We woke up to search and rescue asking if we had seen where our neighbors had been blown off to! Never found out🤷♀️ they’re probably fiiiiiinnnneee….. maybe
