Hereβs something from the way back machine! When I first got into this industry in Nov 2018 I decided to do a boudoir shoot with a GrouponβI was trying to keep my expenses low while I decided if I liked the industry! I had prior modeling experience, but mostly catalogue and fashion type shoots and I was a little bit rusty as it had been a few years since Iβd modeled beyond my prolific selfie habit. I donβt think I ever posted more than 1 or 2 of these, and I wasnβt as satisfied with the outcome as I would have liked. When I look at my photo catalogue I did 3 more shoots within a week of these, self shot, that I like a lot more! When I started photography school in 2005 I was my main/only model so it felt comfortable and natural to shoot myself/self produce. Itβs still fun to reflect on this shoot as it definitely helped me establish my tastes in how I like to portray myself in photos!
