




I'm camping and carb loading. (Sorry the pics are dark as I'm in the shade.) I got out here and was like, "Are you seriously going to do this? How?" My energy is depleted from this morning's lower body workout. I ate a small bowl of oats this morning before my workout (it boiled over, so it was only about a half serving😜). It was not enough for the energy I need. Interesting, because the instructor said to eat carbs. So I'm out here eating all the carbs. Currently, I'm eating a full serving of oats with a little honey, and when I cook dinner later over a campfire, I'm going to cook and eat a big ol' sweet potato. Yum!! I think I'm already starting to feel a little more energized. I normally eat a small amount of carbs because my body doesn't process them like it did in the past. But today, I desperately need them!
For those of you who like my feet and leg veins, they're pumped. It's a hot one out here!
