This is the time of year when I'll be outside on nearly every single hot/warm day. The temps are no longer in the upper 90s to low 100s, which is a sign of summer coming to an end. It's mid to upper 80s today. Tomorrow only brings a high of low 70s, and then works back up to low 90s by next week. But soon enough, it will be consistently cool, so I have to act on these last summer days.
On another note, I finally have an appointment with an OBGYN to be seen for HRT. The earliest appointment available was November 5th, so I took it.
I've been taking a magnesium supplement and drinking soy milk. My hot flashes are few, and my sleep has improved.
The musculoskeletal issues remain and are not improving. For now, my biggest pain is my left collarbone, shoulder, neck, and trapezius area. The pain is expanding. It started in collarbone area, spread to my neck, and is now in my shoulder and upper back. I start physical therapy tomorrow morning. I'm in constant pain.
No idea if the problems are related to lack of estrogen, but it's what I'm blaming it on. If interested, look up menopause related musculoskeletal issues and inflammation. And cholesterol, which jumped up drastically without a change in diet.
I had x-rays of my collarbone and lower back in May that showed only minor wear and tear. My healthcare provider said the x-rays look great for my age.
So who knows? But I do want to be as pain free as possible.
Pull for me, friends! Send good healing vibes, say a prayer. I'm expecting the best outcome. I have much life to be lived, and I wish to do it with vitality.
I realize my problems are minimal compared to many other people's problems, but since I focus on health and well-being and live a pretty healthy lifestyle, I hope to be rewarded for my efforts.
I'll keep you updated. 🙏❤️
