Inner strength 🙏 It just so happened that the practice of Qigong has an important role in my life, which helps me strengthen my physical and spiritual health ✨ For me, this is a very dear, comfortable and comprehensive practice. However, the history of the origin of Qigong itself is rather vague and lost in the centuries. The word qigong itself is quite young, it appeared in the 20th century, and consists of two hieroglyphs. The hieroglyph Qi 氣 means "energy", and the hieroglyph gong 功 means "work". Work does not mean management, but rather the creation of conditions for Qi to flow 🧘‍♀️ Something similar to Qigong began to emerge along with Chinese medicine (about 3000 years ago) and Taoist internal alchemy 🧙‍♂️ The first Taoists were legendary people, it was believed that they could control Qi and thus prolong their lives for centuries! Of course, for these purposes they developed a special set of secret exercises - elements of which have survived to this day and ended up in Qigong 🤓 Modern Qigong masters never talk about Qi management. In China, saying that you can manage Qi is the same as saying that you are a great Qigong master, but usually truly great masters are very modest... After the era of the Taoists, the practice was adopted by the Buddhists 🪷 Shaolin monks practiced similar exercises to recover from injuries, strengthen health and realize themselves in the flow of time. It was also at this time that Qigong became the basis for many martial arts, providing an important basis for the formation of a strong, resilient body and an unshakable Spirit. It is the practice of Qigong that helps people cut wood, stone and even metal with the palm of their hands 🤯 Personally, I do not cut stones with my hands and do not know how to control the flows of life, but Qigong definitely helps me keep my body in good shape!
