Added 2020-12-12 17:43:26 +0000 UTCUpdate 02/11 for peeps who care/are invested (haha): I was able to get access back into my apartment (after hounding my old landlord) and retrieved my husband’s ashes and my ring!! I also was able to take some of his clothes, books, and a few of his favorite hobby items. I was even able to save some toys!! I appreciate all of you who have been so kind and patient with me during all of this. There was a fire in my apartment last night (apparently came from the basement) and literally everything I own is gone. If I owe you content, please be patient with me as I am very distressed right now. Literally EVERYTHING is gone. My clothes, my work outfits, my toys. All I have is the bag of things I brought with me to my dude’s house. I got a call at 5:30 this morning about my apartment. I can’t go inside but these are photos I was able to take from my windows.
