Added 2025-01-15 15:36:57 +0000 UTCI've been working on an army for the game Grimdark Future by OnePagesRules. This is one of heroic characters for the Alien Hives army called Druzhak. The Alien Hives equivalent in Warhammer 40K would be the Tyranids. Grimdark Future is a model generic war game, but the designer does post versions of most of the armies with suggestions for what models to use.
This paint theme I've been going with for the army is Red Yoshi: red body, white belly, orange spikes, blue feet, and yellow soles. One of the features of Yoshi that I haven't been able to do with the lower units is the shell on the back. I'll probably be able to do it here.
This is my first time painting miniatures and so I didn't go with expensive paints. I bought Rust-Oleum rattlecan primer and Liquitex Basic Acrylic Paint. The most expensive part is probably my time and learning how my resin printer works. This was my first project with it.
