Hanoi, Vietnam! This was once my home where I spent 10 months teaching English to bag more money for Sri Lanka (which is madness because my English is APPAULING). But this specific and extremely famous street called 'Hanoi Train Street' is where I spent most of my hungover sundays trying to forget what a plank I made of myself over the weekend. I'd just sit with fellow travellers, sweating by balls off, trying not puke whilst sipping on authentic Vietnamese egg coffee. Oh and on the subject, egg coffee sounds gross, but it's actually incredible, please try it if you ever find yourself in the NAM. Every few hours a train passes by and you have 2 minutes to quickly grab your drinks, move the chairs and tables and push yourself up against the wall to stop yourself from being wiped out by the train, not everyone manages it, 124 people have been wiped out so far. I can't believe something this dangerous still exists as a tourist attraction in 2020 but I'm not complaining, just hungover and a tad suicidal
