

It’s finally cherry season 😍 Although we don’t always think of cherries as stone fruits (any fruit with a pit), they are.. just smaller than most! Why eat cherries? 🍒 They are high in vitamin C 🍒 They contain polyphenols (antioxidants) that found to be good for hearth health 🍒 Also a good source of vitamin B6, potassium & magnesium Sweet cherries are commonly sold at the grocery store & is in the photo. There are also tart cherries, which I commonly seen sold as juice that has been said to help with sleep, reduce muscle soreness + more. This may be due to the amount of magnesium found in cherries. *do not consume the pit*
