GROOMING is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with someone so they can manipulate, exploit and/or abuse them. Particularly vulnerable adults include: people suffering with mental illness, substance abuse, the elderly, and people with special needs. This subject, these videos, and the images herein were / are hard for me to describe. I was groomed as an adult and I’m still in therapy attempting to deprogram from its effects.
