It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, and I did a collective pull for May today, so here it is. The Chariot: The chariot speaks to our willpower. This is about determination and overcoming conflict. The crow rides the chariot to victory with confidence. The 5 of swords: The 5 of swords shows us that what once looked like victory/a win may actually come at a higher cost than expected. This disappointing outcome can lead to conflict, feelings of failure or anxiety and loneliness. The 5 of hearts (cups) reversed: This card is about learning from our past mistakes in order to move forward. This can also mean possible new alliances. This all aligns with the eclipse energy that we’re currently experiencing as well. This eclipse season offers us a great opportunity for growth, allowing us to revisit old wounds. By approaching these reoccurring themes, “loops”, (old wounds and or past mistakes) from a different perspective we have the chance to make big changes. Also, notice the 5 in both the swords and hearts. Not only is May the fifth month, but 5 represents a lot of these same themes. 5 is about the struggle for balance, union and separation, the acceptance of imperfection (usually through struggle, conflict, challenges, disappointment, etc). So again we see opportunities for growth, learning and understanding being offered by some sort of turning point, giving us the possibility of a new perspective and a chance to embrace change. In numerology 5 is the master of change. It’s all about experience. Experiment, get curious, let things flow. Adapt.
