Sadly, I can't post it here due to OF having all bunch of BS rules! Still, we can't talk about it and I can show you a few other things. This ad was featuring Popeye! Since I got so many positive comments about yesterday's video, I decided to share a bit more on the strange history of this mythic cartoon character! I love cartoons. I love gaming. I love sharing :) Don't worry I'll have some naughty stuff for you later as well ;) One strange thing worth noting: Initially, it wasn’t spinach that gave Popeye his superpowers but instead Bernice the Whiffle Hen. In a June 1929 series, rubbing her head made Popeye invulnerable to bullets, although it’s not explained how or why. Eventually, Bernice was phased out and by 1931, spinach became Popeye’s secret weapon, his anti-Kryptonite. Would you consider yourself as someone who has good memories/throwback/emotions when you see a Popeye cartoon? Or you're indifferent?
