For bicep curls, I did them assisted by using my legs to help balance my arms. You can do them in the air, without using your legs as support. Tricep dips can be varied by height. If you're doing this for the first time, I suggest your starting position be closer to the ground, and legs bent so that you're not using too much body weight. Straight-arm kick backs are great but can also hurt if not done correctly. It did hurt my arms after 2 sets. The goal is to feel the burn, not the hurt lolz. Maybe stretching beforehand is a good idea for this exercise, rather than after.
