

✨ Now that we have gotten to know the how - to of meditation, we can dive a little deeper in the science of different brain waves! While meditating the goal is to get the brain into a "theta state", in this state we can actually start to heal ourselves! Here is a list of what kinds of different brain waves our brain goes through in a day. This is a state of out of body experiences, my favorite way to reach this state is through Holotropic Breathwork ◾ Delta is when you are in the dream state or sleeping ◾ Theta is where you are when you meditate, or when you are light sleeping ◾ Alpha is awake but calm ◾ Beta is awake and alert ◾ Gamma is the associated with learning ◾ Hyper Gamma is high level of brain organizations, common in Tibetan Monks during meditation ◾ Lambda is high level of awareness or oneness with the universe
