I rarely eat sugar; I prefer to replace it with stevia. Sometimes I buy chocolate with stevia and rice chips with low fat content. I haven’t eaten pizza for 2 months or a burger for 3 months. Usually, I eat chicken. I get protein flatbread and make myself tacos with a sauce made from Greek yogurt + garlic + mustard. I use protein pasta — can you believe it, guys from Italy even started making that. I also love fried brown rice with chicken in a Chinese style. I use spray oil so there’s very little fat.
I rarely eat red meat, sometimes in a café. But more often, I cook; I cook breakfast and lunch every day, but I don’t have dinner. For dinner, I have chocolate with stevia 😄. Sometimes, I drink sugar-free cola. For breakfast, I have just an omelette or fried eggs (with little oil).
I’ve been without alcohol and sugar for 6 months (rarely, in the company of friends, I might have a glass or a piece of chocolate). If I lived in a country where the food was very delicious, it would probably be harder for me to stick to my diet 🙈. I don’t call it a diet; I don’t restrict myself. My taste buds and stomach have simply adjusted themselves to wanting quality food. It’s real. A little over a year ago, I gained 12 kg in six months. I just ate everything I could get my hands on. I simply decided that I needed to change.
