I was 21 or 22 here, worked full time managing an Indian restaurant, spent a lot of time playing video games and doing silly crafts. After surviving a very unhappy relationship, my restaurant was my LIFE, I had pretty much 0 social interaction aside from people who worked in businesses near me that I would drink with, and my best friend who I was attached at the hip to. Pretty sure I took this photo for my now-Husband! Crazy how time flies, right?! It’s coming up on 5 years of me living in LA, and I couldn’t be more proud of the lil’ lady in these photos for pulling through. What can I say, I’m a sucker for an inspirational story.
