Added 2023-08-21 06:50:52 +0000 UTCi use this picture all the time as a headshot but i have never shared its quirky backstory! i was in madison wi for a comedy festival and i did my show ladylike and it went so so badly and there was this 80 year old man watching and you could tell he just thought he was going to a normal standup show not a show where women talk about having diarrhea or having to get their vagina surgically widened so the could have sex. so i was in a horrible mood and i was stressed out and we go back to comedy on state and a photographer had been taking pictures of everyone during the festival and he was like you have to take your picture (and i am notoriously bad at taking photos) so i was like ok ok. emotionally i was about to boil over and i think you can see that in the photo bc at first glance it looks normal and then you're like woah ok crazy eyes. so i took the picture and then immediately knocked another comic's vodka soda out of his hand onto the carpet and then i said ok i need to go outside and cry and that is what i did and then i dated that comic for a year and a half.
