Added 2024-11-27 20:19:10 +0000 UTCStory time: I rebuilt my pc 2 years ago with all new parts. I got a 3070ti pny gpu from Amazon. It's had issues SINCE then. My pc crashes. I've tried EVERYTHING like legit everything and it's definitely just a faulty gpu.
I finally bit the bullet and called pny since it says it has a 3 yr warranty. They were helping me out a bunch, i did everything they asked (even though I'd already tried) and they said it also seems like a faulty gpu.
I had to send them the receipt (which was a gift receipt) and they noticed the seller was vpci and told me they aren't authorized to sell their stuff and that they can't do anything at all for me because I didn't realize the stupid seller tag said something other than pny even though it's a pny gpu and cost the same amount, it was expensive af.
I looked at the sellers profile and it's closed down. A bunch of bad reviews saying they are scammers. So now I'm positive I got sold a bunk gpu for full price on purpose and there isn't shit i can do about it.
If anyone wants to help me out (which i highly doubt since it's almost 1k, (getting the 3070 again is pointless since it's 50 bucks cheaper at this point with way lower vram), this is on my wishlist at emeryfennec(dot)com and it's directly from pny seller. I will give a lifetime sub and ALLLLLL vids i have (over 50) for it. I don't expect anyone to actually do this ofc but I figured it can't hurt to at least try since all my jobs and streaming is based on my pc and i keep giving up streaming because of all the crashes. Anyways. Thanks for at least reading.
